West Ham have agreed a loan deal with Brighton with an option to buy for Igor Julio, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Julio, who played for Fiorentina in the Conference League final in 2023, is heading to London to complete a medical after seeing a move to Crystal Palace collapse.

Reporting exclusively on The West Ham Way Patreon, our club insider reported the defender is heading to east London for a loan which could include an option to buy.

“We can confirm West Ham have now accelerated moves for Igor Julio of Brighton.

“The player is on his way to West Ham to complete a medical and try to agree a season long loan with possible options to buy.

“The club are also still working on a deal for Dissasi.

“One thing that appeals about Julio is that he is left footed. Therefore we have two left footed centre backs in Kilman and Julio and then we have two right sided centre backs in Todibo and Mavropanos.”
