West Ham manager Graham Potter is under a lot of pressure to keep his job and Jose Mourinho has been linked with the role.
The Hammers got their first win of the season over Nottingham Forest, this has eased the pressure on the former Brighton boss, but that could soon be back on after the International break.
Football legend Jose Mourinho has just been sacked by Turkish giants Fenerbache after they were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by Benfica.
It’s clear that Jose isn’t the manager he once was at clubs like Chelsea and Inter Milan and he hasn’t been that for well over a decade now. Jose failed in Turkey because his football didn’t suit the League. Fenerbache are one of three or four top level teams in the Super Lig, but he stuck to his defensive guns against every team and the League and his team couldn’t excel.
However, Jose’s style would suit the Premier League a whole lot more with a lot more teams with more quality. If this poor form under Potter was to continue and he didn’t end up getting sacked, Jose’s style of football could be exactly what we need to stay in the Premier League.
Not only this, Mourinho as a character is someone West Ham fans would immediately love if he became Hammers manager and could bring together the fan base during a negative time.
The former Manchester United manager brings chaos to every football club he’s been at. However, it’s a type of chaos that West Ham fans will more than get behind. It would either be a match made in heaven or a complete disaster.
