West Ham manager Graham Potter is the talk of football twitter at the moment as his savage face-swap meme has completely taken over the app.
It’s been pretty much all doom and gloom surrounding West Ham United so far this season, with awful performances on the pitch and protests to get the owners out off of it. But the best fanbase in the Premier League always manages to find some positives within the negatives and that’s what is happening on social media.
Hammers fans have completely taken over the football trends on X, with fans editing Graham Potter’s face onto random posts, celebrities, controversial figures and criminals, suggesting the former Brighton and Chelsea manager isn’t fit to be manager of West Ham United.

Ampika Pickston has been coming to David Sullivan’s defence in recent days, calling out fans for their social media posts of discontent about her boyfriend. The former real housewives of Cheshire star has been attempting to wind Hammers fans up, but it’s come back to bite her with these memes.

Like this Simon Cowell photo above, a lot of these posts don’t have context, everyone is just editing Potter onto popular videos old and new. Many fans on X have called this the ‘best football twitter trend ever’.
The meme is everywhere, every other photo or video on the platform is a face-swap of Graham Potter. It has gone down very well with fans of other teams even joining in the trend, but it remains to be seen what Potter thinks of the jokes. It will be interesting to see if he’s asked about it in his press conference this afternoon.
