West Ham are set to sack Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
Yesterday the club sacked Graham Potter after 8 months in charge, with the former Brighton boss recording a 24% win record in the 27 matches in charge.
It was then confirmed soon after that Nuno Espirito Santo has taken the reigns in east London, with the former Nottingham Forest manager signing a 3 year deal.
Alongside Potter, the club also parted ways with Assistant Coach Bruno Saltor, First Team Coaches Billy Reid and Narcis Pelach, Lead Goalkeeper Coach Casper Ankergren, and Goalkeeper Coach Linus Kandolin.
Its now been reported by Ex that Head of Recruitment Macaulay is next in line to depart the club.
“West Ham look likely to remove Kyle Macauley from his position too,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “Macauley was brought in to work with his former Brighton and Chelsea colleague Potter costing the club a reported £1m compensation.
“It is thought that the remainder of the recruitment team including Maximilian Hahn and Dylan Curnell will remain in their positions because they have identified a number of top players during their times at the club many of which the club should have made more effort to sign, with the benefit of hindsight.”
