Nuno Espirito Santo is set to build his backroom team at West Ham, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.
The new Hammers boss, who last night took charge of his first game away to Everton, saw West Ham produce a hard-fought and spirited display to claim a deserved point.
It was a night that showed a passion from the dugout that has been missing in recent times at the club, with many hoping that Nuno has what it takes to turn the team into one that can compete and climb the Premier League table in the weeks ahead.
One question now hovers around the backroom team that Nuno is set to assemble in east London, with our club insider Ex providing an update on The West Ham Way Podcast.
“We understand that Nuno is set to bring in a small team of trusted figures, whom he has worked with previously at other clubs,” stated Ex. “However, he is keen to have a blend of those trusted personnel as well as West Ham people in his team.
“Rui Pedro Silva and Julio Figueroa are set to arrive as assistant coaches, whilst Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias join the club as goalkeeper coach and fitness coach respectively.
“Nuno will then add a mix of people from the club to join him in the 1st team staff, however those are yet to be decided upon at present.”
Ex will advise further on this once those names become clearer as to whom at the club or possible have been at previously, will be joining Nuno’s backroom team.
