West Ham’s recruitment specialist Maximilian Hahn is being headhunted by a number of clubs, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
There has been much upheaval of late in east London, with the club letting go of both Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten last season, which then saw the appointment of Graham Potter and in turn a new Head of Recruitment in Kyle Macaulay.
Following the recent sacking of Potter, who has subsequently been replaced by Nuno Espirtito Santo, it’s been widely anticipated that Macaulay would follow him out the door.
At present though Macaulay remains in east London, who has been working with Hahn as part of the recruitment team at West Ham.
It’s now been reported exclusively by our insider ExWHUEmployee on The West Ham Way Podcast, that Hahn is the subject of serious interest from a number of clubs, who see him as a potential Sporting Director.
“We can report that Maximilian Hahn is being headhunted,” stated Ex. “We believe there are a number of clubs in Germany including Schalke, who see Hahn as someone who can step into a Sporting Director role.
“It’s also understood that both Southampton and Blackburn rovers are keen on the highly-rated transfer specialist.”
