West Ham are set to announce two staff departures in coming days, it has been reported exclusively by ExWHUEmployee.
Following the departure of Graham Potter and subsequent arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo, it has been widely expected that there would be staff changes to follow, which is now beginning to get underway.
Ex has advised that Head of Recruitment Kyle Macaulay is set to depart, while U18 manager Lauris Coggin is also heading for the exit in east London.
“The first is the long expected departure of Head of Recruitment Kyle Macauley,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“The former Chelsea man was brought in specifically by ex manager Graham Potter and it is felt that the new manager doesn’t wish to work with him. Compensation payments are said to have been finalised between the two parties.
“The other member of staff who will be saying his farewells is Under 18s manager Lauris Coggin who has been the lead coach since July 2024. West Ham are currently looking for a replacement with a number of West Ham connected applicants in the frame.”
Ex has also advised that Mark Robson, who has impressed Nuno since his arrival at the club, is expected to get a role under the new boss in the West Ham first team setup.
“First team manager Nuno Espírito Santo is set to name his backroom staff soon with many of the potential additions covered by us in previous articles,” added Ex. “Mark Robson, the current U21s lead coach, is expected to get a role within the first team set up potentially creating another vacancy within the Academy.”
