West Ham have denied the suggestion that Nuno is not selecting him due to appearance fee concerns, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
It has been a disastrous opening 8 games of the Premier League season for the club, with West Ham in 19th place on 4 points having come off a very poor performance in the 2-0 loss to Brantford.
Pressure is mounting as many fear the worst this season, with relegation a real possibility unless form changes quickly and drastically.
One element which is concerning many is our striker position, with Niclas Fullkrug out injured and Nuno having Callum Marshall and Callum Wilson the only available frontmen, with the latter not playing a minute a yet under the new Hammers boss.
There is a growing suspicion that the club are not playing the former Newcastle forward due to appearance fees, however our insider has reported that this has been denied by the club
“West Ham have denied that Callum Wilson is not being picked because he has a very high appearance fee,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “Many fans have been baffled at the England forward’s inability to get many minutes under the new gaffer and have speculated that it is more for financial reasons that this is happening rather than selection.
“We did our research and asked the question around. The notion was completely denied by the club and we were told that the manager just doesn’t fancy him.
“All eyes will turn to tomorrow’s game to see what the team selection is then after a baffling one on Monday.”
