Callum Wilson has to start up front for West Ham against Leeds tonight. Nuno simply has to get his first win, or we are in serious trouble.

Nuno Espirito Santo has had a lot of work to do since our embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Brentford on Monday night, but the most important thing for him to do is get his team selection right.

On Monday, Nuno got the starting XI completely wrong, he made some absolutely crazy decisions like starting Ollie Scarles at right-back, a midfield two of Irving and Soucek as well as playing Paqueta up front.

There are a lot of changed needed at Elland Road tonight, but the biggest of them all is the striker. With Fullkrug injured, Paqueta out of form and Marshall looking like he’s not yet ready for the Premier League. Callum Wilson has to spearhead the Hammers attack tonight or we’re certainly going to struggle in attack once again.

There is a huge possibility we still struggle with Wilson up top, but the 33-year-old England International is undoubtedly the only man for the job tonight. The fact Nuno has completely frozen him out is strange, he’s actually been surprisingly good when he’s played, he’s scored a goal this season, and that’s more than Niclas Fullkrug can say.

If Nuno opts for Marshall, I do believe it would be the wrong decision, but the fact he’d be giving a youngster a go would be exciting. However, if he sticks with Paqueta after his performance on Monday, serious questions may need to start being asked of the former Wolves boss.
