Jean-Clair Todibo played his best game in a West Ham shirt in the win over Newcastle on Sunday.
That is the view of club insider ExWHUEmployee, who like all West Ham fans was delighted with the display from our Hammers as we claimed a well-deserved 3-1 win over the Magpies.
Despite the doom and gloom going into the match, I thought that was the best we have all seen West Ham play, especially at home, in a long long time.
It wasn’t perfect as we unfortunately conceded early again, which was disappointing, but credit to the players for not letting their heads drop and for going on to put in a great performance and well earned result.
Freddie Potts was simply magnificent in the middle of the park, a player looking the real deal for us. I also think it was the best I’ve seen Todibo okay for the club too, he was outstanding and it was so good to see, finally.
That result and performance gives us a good platform to build on at the Burnley game.
