West Ham have a manager in Nuno Espirito Santo who has an aligned vision to work with our Academy players.

That is the view of The West Ham Way Podcast host Dave Walker, who has been impressed with how the Hammers boss is clearly showing trust and is creating pathways for our Academy boys to make the steps into the first team.

I have to say I have been very impressed with many aspects of Nuno since he has arrived, with one being how he is taking the Academy boys seriously and giving them minutes, it is great to see.

It’s so important on many levels, not only for the young players at the club who are pushing to that level, but those who are younger and even those who are at other clubs possibly looking on.

West Ham are once again looking like a club to be at for young players, its what we are about.

It shows belief in these lads and potential Academy players that you will be given opportunities if you are deemed good enough and that is so important.
