West Ham should sell Lucas Paqueta this January as he’s become a liability.

That is the view of The West Ham Way Podcast host Dave Walker, who was like many disappointed in the Brazil star after his error leading to an Aston Villa equaliser last weekend.

Walker feels it’s time to cash in on the player, as the club fight to survive a very real relegation threat this season.

I’m so done with Paqueta, I have to say it now. Not only does he lack end product the most of the time, but at times he can be a liability and ultimately create more chances for the opposition than West Ham.

I would like to see him sold in January and put that money towards a player or players that can consistently add value to the side.

What we do in the January transfer window coupled with the five games after the Manchester City game, will define our season in my opinion.
