West Ham are pushing to sign Adama Traore from Fulham in January, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.
As was reported by our insider previously, it was felt that Nuno would want the club to press ahead with landing the powerful winger, after their successful time together at Wolves.
With Traore out of contract at the end of the season, its hoped that the club can agree a fee with Fulham, with Ex advising that a deal could be reached soon.
“A player who appears most likely to sign for the club at this stage is Adama Traore of Fulham,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“The manager is desperate to bring him across the capital, and it is thought that with the Spanish international out of contract in the summer, West Ham should be able to agree a reasonable fee within the coming days.
“Nuno is keen to try and get this signing done as soon as possible, and it is thought that Fulham are prepared to listen to offers. The club will hope to complete this early in the window.”
Ex further advised that Nuno has not ruled out signing a defender, with Charlie Cresswell top of the list, however attacking positions are a priority at this stage.
