West Ham lost yet again as they were defeated 1-0 by Marco Silva’s Fulham this afternoon.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s strange team selection cost the Hammers yet again this afternoon. It was a boring game, there was no excitement at all.

However, if the Portuguese manager started Callum Wilson, like everyone has been calling for him to do for weeks, I honestly believe we would’ve won that game comfortably.

It was a match with quite a lot of shots but no real big chances, just one from each team. Fulham had the better of it in the first half, Harry Wilson forced Areola into an excellent early save. Summerville also went close in the first period but the visitors were on top both possession and opportunities wise.

Early on the game started as the first half went, however, just over five minutes into the second the Hammers started to get a foothold.

In reaction to this. Nuno brought on Callum Wilson for Crysencio Summerville who was very poor again in the first half. Bowen then went very close, putting his effort agonisingly wide of the post.

Wilson became the focal point of the West Ham attack and we started looking really dangerous for the first time in the game. He was worrying the Fulham defence and he even came close on a couple of occasions. He did a lot more then Bowen/Paqueta were doing up there in a lot less time

The game was end to end until the end when West Ham hearts were broken and me and about of Hammers fans thought we were down.

Scarles awful error failing to clear the ball fell to Harry Wilson who found Raul Jimenez in the box just waiting to finish it, and finish it he did.

West Ham have lost what was a must-win game. This puts even more pressure on the next three fixtures against Brighton, Wolves, and Forest. If we don’t get at least 6 or 7 points from these matches we’re going to get relegated.

An awful team display, awful team selection from Nuno and just an awful time to be a West Ham fan.
