West Ham were defeated once again this weekend, this time at the hands of Fulham.

The Cottagers have made it the Hammers’ third defeat in a row and are now without a win in seven Premier League matches

This sounds absolutely woeful, and the truth is it is absolutely woeful. But also, we have been improving, we really should have got about 2/3 wins over that period and we should be out of the relegation zone.

We’ve been playing well on a lot of occasions, we just don’t have that thing that gets us over the like, we keep throwing away leads or in some games being frustrated because we can’t find the back of the net.

The Fulham game was the latter, we did more then enough to win that game, we created some decent chances, we limited them to very few. And being totally honest, they were average at best. Like Bournemouth, like Brighton, like United, and like Villa, there to be beaten and we couldn’t do it.

For this game, Nuno has to take a lot of the blame, if he started Callum Wilson in that game I truly believe we would’ve won, he completely changes us, he gives us a focal point, he’s our best finisher, his movement is excellent.

I don’t understand why Nuno doesn’t see how crucial he will be to us staying up, he has to play from the start. The Portuguese manager has made some crazy decisions during his time in East London, but he seems to have calmed down now.

All he has to do is play nine players that started vs Fulham against Brighton on Tuesday. He has to drop Paqueta and Kilman for Wilson and Mavropanos and our team will be a lot more defensively solid and a whole lot more clinical and dangerous in front of goal.
