West Ham are pushing ahead with talks after almost completing the signing of Pablo, it’s been exclusively reported by ExWHUEmployee.
In what has been a fast paced beginning to the January transfer window in east London, it’s been reported by Ex that Portuguese forward Pablo is close to completing a move to the club.
Ex has now advised that the club are not set to stop there in regards to forwards, with talks for Taty Castellanos also now advancing.
“West Ham are in the brink of completing a move for Pablo but that may not be the only forward we sign,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“Talks have continued with Lazio forward Taty Castellanos.
“As we exclusively revealed the Argentina international is also a target of Nuno’s. The player could be available on a good priced deal because Lazio have financial issues.
“The manager is said to want to desperately have more firepower at the club and the fact that Leeds are also in the mix for the player could prompt us to try and conclude the deal soon.”
Ex has also shed further light on the pursuit of Adama Traore from Fulham, with talks for the player also advancing.
“We are also advancing talks and are close to deal for Adama Traore too,” added Ex. “The former Fulham, Wolves and Middlesbrough winger is out of contract in the summer and West Ham are hoping to conclude a deal soon.
“Fulham were hoping to hold on to the end of the African Nations, when their players return before finalising the deal. Fulham are due to play Crystal Palace at 530pm and whether he is in this or not will be an interesting indicator of how far the deal is down the line.”
Ex has said that focus could well then turn to a new defender, with Charlie Cresswell said to be top of the list, as has been reported by our insider for many weeks, with Luis Guilherme looking set to depart the club.
“The club could then turn their attention to a defender with Charlie Cresswell very much still a target,” said Ex.
“Some of these transfers could be financed by the imminent sale of Guilherme who has continued talks with Sporting over a £17.5m deal.”
