West Ham managed to register new signing Pablo Felipe in time to be in the squad vs Wolves this afternoon, but what will his role be?
If he has travelled and been selected for the squad, Pablo Felipe is expected to have a limited role against Wolves this afternoon.
With just one training session under his belt in claret and blue it would be crazy to expect Pablo Felipe comes straight into the starting XI.
Considering Callum Wilson only played an hour on Thursday, I would expect the Englishman to start at Molineux Stadium this afternoon. So, it should be the same front three that started against Brighton; Paquetá, Wilson & Bowen.
This means Pablo Felipe will be on the bench this afternoon. However, when Wilson is tiring and inevitably comes off around the hour mark I don’t think Pablo will be Nuno’s first sub.
I can see Wilson being withdrawn for Summerville and Paquetá moving up front, obviously depending how the game is going. Then, then towards the end of the game, scoreline depending, I can see him replacing Paquetá up front.
If we’re losing or drawing I can see that change happening with around twenty minutes to go, if we’re winning comfortably I can see him coming on with around ten minutes to go. However, if we’re leading by just one goal and hanging on, maybe he won’t come on at all.
