18th placed West Ham United face 17th placed Nottingham Forest in what is a crucial game for both sides.
It’s a big game for Forest who can extend the gap between them and the relegation zone to 7 points.
However, it’s an even bigger game for the Hammers. A win would put them one point behind Forest, therefore one point from safety. But a loss which would make the gap 7 points would almost confirm relegation.
If we win we might get some confidence back, and with confidence we can perform. However, a defeat against another of the worst teams in the Premier League after losing 3-0 to bottom of the table Wolves would be impossible to come back from.
The lack of confidence and shire sadness in the Hammers camp if we fail to win tomorrow would be awful. If we lose tomorrow I’d struggle to see us get 7 points for the rest of the season, let alone make up 7 points on Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest.
We’ve said for the last four matches that it’s win or be relegated. However, while those games were crucial, and that Wolves defeat was so so embarrassing. This is our last chance, if we can’t beat what seem to be our direct rivals for safety then Nuno has to be sacked or we might as well throw the towel in.
