West Ham United fans will be happy with the side Nuno has picked to face Nottingham Forest this evening.

The former Wolves manager has made four changes from the team that got embarrassed 4-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The starting XI: Areola; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Todibo, Scarles; Fernandes, Soucek, Paquetá; Bowen, Summerville, Castellanos.

A big relief for Hammers fans is the fitness of both Jean-Clair Todibo and Lucas Paquetá who are fit to play from the start. However, the biggest relief is that Max Kilman doesn’t start the game. Phew!

The other two changes include Tomas Soucek and new signing Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos. Having the Argentinian in this side is a massive boost and will excite the Hammers fans for a game they’ve been dreading.

As for Soucek, I think it’s the right call to start him. If there’s two things he’s become known for during his time at West Ham is his leadership/hard-work and his ability to score clutch goals. We could certainly do with both of those tonight.

Nuno has picked the right team, he’s picked a team to go for the win, he knows we have to win this to save his job and to give us a fighting chance of staying in the Premier League.

Let’s hope the attitude of the team has improved from Saturday. He’s picked the right team in my opinion, but we have to fight with everything we’ve got or we won’t get the three points we so desperately need.

Come on you Irons!
