West Ham face the biggest match of the season so far with a win needed to fight off the real threat of relegation.
Nuno Espirito Santo has thus far failed to deliver on the anticipation that he is the man to guide our Hammers to safety, with tonight seen as the last chance to stand a chance of avoiding Championship football next season.
Speaking ahead of the crunch clash against Nuno’s former side Nottingham Forest tonight, The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee shared their thoughts.
“This is by far the biggest game of the season,” stated Walker. “After that disaster on Saturday we have to win, no excuses.
“Tonight we see who is up for a fight, who has pride and who really care about this club. Anything other than a win is unacceptable.”
Ex shared his co-hosts thoughts and feels that all of West Ham need to come together tonight in the hope we’ll have enough to secure a huge win and kickstart our fightback against the drop.
“This is the definition of a must win game, a cup final and is more important that a 6 pointer and any other cliche,” added Ex. “Simply if we win we go a point behind Forest with lots to play for, if we lost the gap of 7 points is completely moral crushing.
“Everyone fans, players, staff need to enter this game positively, put behind (for the game) any ill feeling or negativity and try to get the 3 points. Premier League survival is crucial.”
