West Ham’s loss to Nottingham Forest makes relegation to the Championship feel inevitable.
That is the shared view of The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee, who like most fans are feeling so down after seeing our beloved club take another stumble towards Championship football next season.
“The performance was better and ultimately we’ve been screwed over by the officials, stated a fuming Walker. “However, the bottom line is we’ve lost again and that defeat confirms relegation for me. We’re just not good enough.”
Ex felt the same and said that the Stadium was a depressing place to be, with so many empty seats with the future of our club looking so bleak in what is a dark time in east London.
“In what was a crucial game we have failed to deliver yet again,” added Ex. A lack of quality particularly in defence. Harsh decisions but that happens when your luck is down and a depressing half empty stadium.
“I don’t really see a way out of this sadly, unless we buy another 3/4 players and finally get a decent team out.”
