West Ham allowing Callum Wilson to leave for relegation rivals would be unforgivable.
There is absolutely no doubt that West Ham have the most incompetent owners in the Premier League. It’s clear that they have absolutely no idea how to effectively run a football club, and that their only interest is lining their pockets.
News broke in recent days that Callum Wilson’s contract could be cancelled, despite him being the only striker at the club with experience in the Premier League.
This angered fans enough because it doesn’t make any sense to allow someone with his bossing record to leave. However, where he could end up will have supporters even more livid.
It’s been reported that relegation rivals Leeds could sign the Englishman this month.
Although it’s hard to imagine the Hammers staying up either way, and even if they do it’s more likely to be Forest that go down instead, allowing a club that they’re in direct competition with to take such a clinical striker.
Once again, it shows poor decision making and a real lack of ambition.
Even if they have no intention of using him, if it means keeping him away from Leeds then he should be kept for the remainder of the season.
