West Ham progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup with win over QPR.

It’s taken extra time and them facing a Championship side, but West Ham United have won a game of football.

In all honesty, it’s a genuinely impressive win. When you’re as out of form as the Hammers are, a Championship side who’s going to be giving it 110% is always going to be an extremely tough game.

Summerville absolutely run the show, and he was rewarded for his efforts with a goal right at the end of the first-half.

Things did start to look like they were going how fans had feared though at the start of the second-half, with QPR equalising with a lovely flicked header 65 minutes in.

Early on into extra-time, Summerville put in the perfect cross, after a lovely turn on the wing, and found the head of Castellanos who headed home the win for the East London outfit.

No matter how tough it was, winning games breeds positivity. If we’re going to pull off the miraculous, this could go a long way to helping build some kind of form.

With Spurs away next, that is perhaps the perfect game for the players to build on this win and get some small confidence back in the fans.
