West Ham are set to appoint a new key member of Nuno’s backroom team in Paco Jemez, it has been exclusively reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Despite the clubs current position and poor league form, it appears the hierarchy are supporting the manager, with the Spaniard set to join and be formally announced soon, with Ex reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“West Ham are set to announce a new addition to Nuno Espirito Santo’s backroom staff,” stated Ex. “It is believed that the Spaniard Paco Jemez had had talks to join the club. Jemez (55) is an incredibly experienced manager having managed a total of 12 teams on 13 separate occasions.

“He managed his last club UD Ibiza in another previous spell. He was only sacked by Ibiza on 21 October 2025, this season.

“He had a successful playing career in Spain playing for the likes of Deportivo La Coruna and Zaragoza as well as winning 21 caps for Spain as a central defender appearing for his country at Euro 2000. He appears to have been brought in as an experienced manager/coach as well as being a former central defender, with a view to sort them out.

“Jemez has apparently been in the building today and could be officially announced in the coming days. Apparently there has been a couple of other potential new members of staff interviewed but it isn’t clear if they will be appointed at this stage.

“This could also be seen as a way of backing the manager still by allowing him to bring in his own staff despite the current league form and position.”
