Taty Castellanos gives West Ham a glimmer of hope for the remainder of the season.

There’s just something about West Ham and Argentinian players.

Castellanos may not be the best striker we’ve had at this club, he may not be a Carlos Tevez either, but he’s certainly shown more fight than 90% of the players have this season.

His constant chasing down of the ball is a refreshing sight and he clearly has the ability to cause defenders all sorts of problems. He himself may not score tons of goals, but what he will certainly do is create space and opportunities for players like Bowen to score.

What’s exciting to see is he’s instantly formed a relationship with Summerville, with the two of them linking up extremely well, as can be seen from the striker’s winner against QPR.

It’s going to take a miracle to keep West Ham up this year, while I don’t expect that of Taty alone, he’s certainly got the drive and work rates to make things happen.
