Lucas Paqueta is undergoing treatment and is a doubt for the Spurs game, with ExWHUEmployee reporting the latest on the situation.

The Brazil star is finding himself once again under the spotlight, with it understood the player is keen on a transfer to Flamengo.

It had been reported that the player had been made unavailable for our FA Cup win over QPR due to the situation, however this is denied by Paqueta’s team.

Our insider Ex has advised of the current state of play, with it appearing there are contrasting views with regards to how things have unfolded.

“There are a lot of mistruths circulating around Lucas Paqueta at the moment,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“We understand that the player was at the training ground today as normal and was there for the whole duration of the session.

“He was having treatment on his back and this is the reason that he said he couldn’t play against QPR and is a doubt for Spurs although the club obviously have a different opinion.

“He is still keen on a move back to Flamengo but at the moment the club say he will remain a West Ham player. The Brazilian side are expected to continue dialogue with the club over agreeing a fee.”

The situation is likely to develop further today, with Ex to keep fans up to date as it happens on The West Ham Way Patreon.
