West Ham are likely to retain Guido Rodriguez following the departure of Andy Irving, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
In what is shaping up to a be a very busy transfer window in east London, with expectations that more business will be done, for both incoming and outgoing players, Ex has advised that Rodriguez is now expected to remain.
It had been expected that the Argentine would depart the club, however this has now changed.
“Despite reports that the club had received an offer of £2.5m for the Argentine international the club have denied this,” stated Ex on The West Hal Way Patreon.
“We were also told that now that Andy Irving has left the club “we are unlikely to let him go”. So it seems like the player will now be part of our relegation battle.
“The club have also denied that they are close to signing Gonzalo Plata as part of the Lucas Paqueta deal. We were told quite simply “Not true” when we put that to them.”
