West Ham have been busy again in the transfer window, and it appears that the latest person of interest has been found, but who actually is the Venezuelan that we’re after?

Nuno has been requesting reinforcements and it appears that he is in dire need of some wingers, in which for the left side, the player who has been identified is Kieber Lamadrid, a Venezuelan winger who plays for Deportivo La Guaira FC.

The winger is 22 years of age and at this given moment, it seems that West Ham will be signing the player on loan with an option to buy, definitely a smart deal and in case he isn’t able to make an impact, we have a choice whether to buy the forward, rather than an obligation.

Throughout his career so far, he has predominantly played in the left wing position, but throughout his career, he has been used in a handful of positions, ranging from a defensive midfielder to a number 10 role, but his primary position, which has seen him earn a call-up to his national side, has been on the left wing position.

Across his 103 senior appearances, he has scored 14 goals and gotten 7 assists, but that shouldn’t be the stat that is being rung around. It’s important to note that in the left winger position, he has played just 18 matches, achieving 6 G/A in that period.

The now-winger plays a quick game where his tidy dribbles allow him to get into positions to provide for the team and he also has a good strike on him, but most importantly, above all, is that he has a good work ethic, loves to run, and will leave his heart on the pitch.

The energy levels that he have could prove to be what West Ham needs, he is not a signing that will walk into the starting squad, but he’s someone that you could bring on from the bench that could either have an attacking benefit, or be able to help out on seeing out the game, which is exactly as to why I would like us to sign Kieber.

If Kieber Lamadrid’s move were to go through, he would become the first player in the history of the Liga FUTVE, the Venezuelan League, to be transferred directly to a Premier League club, so hopefully he’s able to break other positive records throughout his time at West Ham and can make his homeland proud.
