West Ham appear to have finally reached a full agreement with Flamengo over the sale of Lucas Paqueta, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The Brazil international has not featured for the club in recent weeks, due to his desire to leave the club and Premier League, to return to Flamengo and his native homeland.
After a somewhat long-drawn out affair, it appears the deal has finally been agreed, with the player now set to depart for his medical.
“It appears that West Ham have finally agreed terms with Flamengo over the departure of Lucas Paqueta,” stated Ex. “There has been some hold up over the amount of instalments and their value but it seems that this has been resolved.
“The Brazilian is expected to fly to the country in the coming day to complete his medical and the finer parts of the contract. This is a story that we exclusively broke to you all and one that we have detailed since we did.
“The club have confirmed this to be true as well as the €42m fee. The player has now said his goodbyes to the players and staff.”
