West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo makes seven changes to the side that beat Fulham 1-0 to face Brentford in the FA Cup.

West Ham team vs Brentford: Areola; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Disasi, Scarles; Soucek, Fernandes, Kante; Bowen, Pablo, Traore.

Unsurprisingly, Areola comes in for Hermansen between the sticks. While the fullbacks are also rotated, KWP and Scarles start for the first time in a while. Mavropanos also comes in for Todibo in defence.

As for the midfield, we’re all shocked Potts and Magassa aren’t playing from the start. Soucek and Fernandes keep their places and are joined by Mohamadou Kante. The young Frenchman impressed off the bench at Craven Cottage.

Bowen starts which was expected after he didn’t feature in the last round against Burton. Summerville played in that one so he only makes the bench today, allowing Traore to start. This is a big opportunity for the former Wolves man to show what he can do in claret and blue.

The biggest news is that Pablo Felipe makes his return from injury and is starting. We’ve really missed him over the past few weeks and could be a huge boost tonight and beyond.

Overall, Nuno has picked a great side for tonight, a balanced team in terms of starters and squad players.
