West Ham suffered a blow in our success in reaching the FA Cup Quarter Final last night as Crysencio Summerville picked up an injury, with ExWHUEmployee providing the latest.

It was an emphatic night at the London Stadium, where West Ham produced a hard-fought & spirited display to overcome our London rivals Brentford on penalties, following a pulsating 2-2 draw in which both sides could not be seperated after 120 minutes of FA Cup football.

Nuno’s Hammers were victorious after 5 excellent penalties, however the sight of Summerville limping heavily was a massive concern and its one many are hoping is not serious, as we enter a crucial period of the season as the club fights for its Premier League status.

Our club insider Ex has reported that there is serious worry in the club and the player is now set to have a scan today to determine the extent of the injury sustained.

“West Ham have said that Summerville will have ‘Scans today and it’s a huge worry’.” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“That said he was seen walking at the end of the match so we will have to wait to find out the full extent. As soon as we hear further we will let you know.”
