West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has named an unchanged side from the 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers to face Crystal Palace tonight.
This is a massive game for the Hammers as they can increase the gap from the relegation zone and rivals Tottenham Hotspur to four points. That would be huge for the club, both mathematically and mentally,
In order to try to get the three points tonight, Nuno has made zero changes from the team that beat Wolves.
The team: Hermansen; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Disasi, Diouf; Bowen, Soucek, Fernandes, Summerville; Castellanos, Pablo.
It makes sense to keep it the same, especially after that second-half performance. The 4-4-2 is the way forward and we have to stick with it.
As for Palace, they are without a couple of key men – Sarr and Wharton. They are probably the Eagles’ two best players, so it will be interesting to see how they get on without them.
A midfield two of Hughes and Lerma is poor and really could be got at by Fernandes, Soucek, and even Pablo dropping deep.
After seeing the two lineups, Hammers fans should be really confident. This is an excellent opportunity for us.
Come on you Irons!
