Premier League safety is in West Ham’s hands; if they get more points than Spurs, they will remain in the top flight.

The best way to do that is to focus on ourselves and get points and wins on the board. With Brentford, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Leeds coming up, we need to be at our best in order to do that.

We have been in great form, but there is definitely room for improvement in our performances. One way to do that is to get the best out of your best players, and two of our best players are our wingers, Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville.

Over the course of the season, these two have probably been our best players and the contenders for hammer of the year, maybe now, along with Konstantinos Mavropanos.

However, as of late, they haven’t been quite as good. Summerville understandably hasn’t been quite at it after returning from injury, while Bowen hasn’t been able to get involved as much.

However, that changes against Everton, both players looked a lot better. Bowen really took the game by the scruff o of the neck, he provided the assists for both goals. Summerville didn’t get in on the goal contributions; however, he looked like his normal self, scaring defenders and forcing them into fouls.

In fact, Everton received four yellow cards on Saturday, and all four of them were for fouls on Crysencio Summerville. So while he didn’t have a direct impact on the scoreline, he certainly helped the team massively.

If Bowen can keep up his assists and get back on the scoresheet consistently, and Summerville can return to the form he was in pre-injury, that could be the firepower we need to stay up while the strikers continue to struggle for form and chemistry.
