West Ham are pushing to gather evidence in the VAR call to rule out our equaliser against Arsenal at the weekend, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

In what was a spirited and tough display against the side who are top of the Premier League, Callum Wilson slotted home a 95th minute equaliser against the Gunners, however VAR intervened to deem a foul on Raya in the build-up.

The decision has sparked much debate, with many suggesting that the ‘foul’ on the Arsenal goalkeeper have been seen throughout the season, but on this day it was deemed enough to rule the goal out.

There is also evidence to suggest West Ham players were being fouled in the corner, which should have been called as a penalty – yet they were not reviewed.

It is now understood that the club have requested information from the Premier League to establish all the evidence before making our next move, although what that will be is not clear at this stage.

“The club want answers on this matter,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast. “We understand that they have requested all information, including audio on how the decision was determined.

“I am unsure at this stage what this would achieve, especially in terms of next steps, but the club are very aggrieved by the decision.”
