West Ham United have the chance to put real pressure on Spurs this afternoon.
A West Ham win would mean Nuno’s side leapfrog Spurs into 17th, putting the pressure on them to win their game in hand against Chelsea.
However, on the other side of things, a West Ham loss would mean that anything but a loss would mean the Hammers will be playing Championship football next season.
So, pretty much, we have to win this match or we will be relegated barring a miracle and/or a David Moyes masterclass on the final day of the season next Sunday.
We’ve said this a lot in the past few weeks, but this is a much win match for us. A loss or even a draw today would be devastating for our chances of survival.
We’ve got to go into this game with every intention to win, no back five, no defensive mentality, no intentions of just nicking a late goal. We have to attack from the start.
