West Ham are considering terminating the contract of Niclas Fullkrug following what has been a disaster of a transfer to the club, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The German international, who has not featured for his national side since August last year, signed for West Ham in 2024 from German side Borussia Dortmund.

During his time in east London, Fullkrug has managed only 3 goals in 26 appearances, before being loaned out to AC Milan in January this year.

It appears that the Italian side are not open to signing the striker and its understood, especially with his high wages, that a mutual termination of his contract could be the best solution for both parties, although that hasn’t yet been decided upon.

“We understand that there is a real consideration being given to mutually terminate Fullkrugs contract,” stated Ex. “This would get his wages off the books and be best for all parties.

“It does however represent yet another disastrous striker signing to add to the very long list.”

Ex also advised that the club still very much wish to keep Jarrod Bowen at the club and are working on this. Other clubs are keen and with things up in the air at West Ham at present, Bowen’s situation remains uncertain at present.
