West Ham are continuing to work on transfer targets despite the current uncertainty regarding the leadership structure at the club, with ExWHUEmployee providing an update.

It was announced 11 days ago that Daniel Kretinsky is set to buy a significant portion of the Gold family shares, taking the Czech to 43% ownership of the club. Those talks are continuing with strong suggestions that Amanda Staveley is also looking to buy into the club.

As many await the conclusion of the ongoing discussions and negotiations, work is still be undertaken within the club to narrow down on targets for the club this summer, as we look to build a squad ready to return to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our club insider ExWHUEmployee has advised on a few players that are currently under the radar.

“Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry is on the list of potential winger signings,” stated Ex. It isn’t known at this stage whether he will be allowed to go out on loan again next year, having spent the last two seasons on loan at Blackburn and Bolton respectively.

“There are a number of other domestic targets that we have on the wing, which include Leicester’s Fatawu, Maamma of Watford and Manhoef of Stoke City.

“Another right winger who has also caught the attention would count as a homegrown player but plays in Spain for Espanyol, having made his name at Blackburn Rovers his name is Tyrhys Dolan.

“Italian-based target is Matteo Cancellieri of Lazio. He was heavily linked with Brentford recently, but he could also come onto our radar too. He only has a year left on his contract but has a lot of interest from clubs such as Olympiakos, Torino, Parma, and Fiorentina.

“On the other flank, Dwight McNeil is a key target that could be a loan move too, and there are many other targets that the club will narrow down in coming weeks.”
