West Ham are hopeful of confirming the appointment of Nils Koppen soon as the new Recruitment head already gets to work in his role, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The FC Copenhagen Technical Director, who is understood to be finalising his exit from the club, is understood to have already held meetings as work gets underway at West Ham for the upcoming season.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our insider advised that Koppen should soon be appointed officially by the club, although wheels are in motion at the club in regards to summer transfer business.

“West Ham are hoping to confirm the appointment of Nils Koppen from Fc Copenhagen in the coming days so he can start work in an official capacity,” stated Ex. “It is thought he has already held unofficial meeting with various members of the recruitment team and other departments.”

Ex has also advised that targets have been upgraded for certain positions following the sale of Mateus Fernandes to Spurs for £85m.

“The club will have money to work with now and have since upgraded their potential targets following the £85m that we got for the transfer of Mateus Fernandes to Spurs,” added Ex.
