West Ham have confirmed the appointment of Rui Pedro Silva and its a move that could well propel the club to being serious favourites for promotion.

It’s not too often that so much emphasis is placed on the backroom team or right hand man of a manager, but in this instance it feels huge for West Ham, being a move that could seriously improve how the club about things on the pitch this season as we look to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Silva is Nuno’s trusted number two, whom he has shared much success with over the years, most recently at Nottingham Forest where guided them to Europe – much like they both did with Wolves, which included an impressive Championship title win also.

The West Ham Way Podcast host Dave Walker is delighted with the appointment and feels this could be a huge moment for the club this season.
