West Ham are a club on the up despite relegation and it’s one that needs its captain to state he’s going nowhere.
The future of Jarrod Bowen is one of serious speculation at present, with clubs understandably looking at the England winger as a potential signing following our drop to the Championship.
While it would be expected by many outside the club for Bowen to likely move on, there are many in east London that truly believe that he will opt to stay at the place he loves dear, with a desire to lead the club back to the Premier League.
Tomas Soucek recently made a big statement that he’s going nowhere this summer, much to the delight of many Hammers fans. So, it’s certainly hoped that it’s not that far fetched for Bowen to follow suit soon.
Bowen committing his future would be a monumental boost for the club and would give West Ham’s chances of promotion a real lift – in fact it’s fair to say he’d be considered the best in the Championship next season.
Confidence is certainly there that he will remain – but ultimately doubts will remain until we get confirmation from the player.
Let’s hope that isn’t too far away now.
