West Ham have completed the signing of Joel Veltman in what is considered a very shrewd piece of business, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

The former Brighton man, who is a popular figure on the south coast, turned down other opportunities to sign as a free-agent on a one year deal with an option of a 2nd.

“West Ham have completed the free transfer signing of former Brighton player Joel Veltman,” stated Ex.

“The Dutchman joins the club to cover the right back and centre back position and brings us valuable experience and dressing room presence.

“He is thought to be wearing the number 34 shirt which he wore with distinction for Brighton. Brighton fans have been singing his praise on social media and this seems like a good coup for the club.”
