West Ham are now turning attentions to other areas of the squad following the signing of Manor Solomon, with ExWHUEmployee reporting the latest.

Solomon was yesterday confirmed as a West Ham player, having signed a 3 year deal with an option of a further year, to give Nuno’s side a significant boost going into the Championship kick-off this Sunday away at Burnley.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, Ex has advised that the club are now ramping up interest in other targets, with a move for Reiss Nelson now appearing to be moving in a direction that an agreement may be reached with Arsenal.

“Our good friend Dharmesh messaged me about Reiss Nelson and asked if there was interest and I confirmed there was,” stated Ex. “The player has a year left of his contract so ideally they want to sell, but could take a loan move if we pay a decent fee and wages to give us another option on the wing.

“The club is continuing to hold talks about the next offer to try and sign Troy Parrott from AZ Alkmaar, whilst Wilson Isidor also is still very much in contention.

“In regards to Parrott, it does appear that Alkmaar have accepted he is to depart and at present he does seem the most likely we would sign. However, at present a deal is not yet close but the club want to get an agreement reached.

“To confirm from my previous update, Jamie Vardy is seen as a back-up option at present.

“In regards to Axel Disasi, the player is still weighing up his options and the club still want to bring him back to east London. Dylan Lawlor is still a target, but his ongoing injury may mean the club will need to look at other options.

“Arne Engels remains our priority midfield target, but it is proving difficult as Celtic wish to hold onto the player as they seek qualification in the Champions League, which could mean this will be done late in the window if we want to sign the player.

“Jordan James of Rennes is seen as another option as well as Josh Milligan of Hibs.”
