West Ham are closing in on the signing of Joel Piroe from Leeds United who is having his medical today, with ExWHUEmployee providing the latest.

In what has been a big shift in striker recruitment in the last few days, attention moved to Piroe after talks with Troy Parrott, who was deemed the prime target, are understood to have collapsed.

Piroe, who has an strong record in the Championship campaigns with Leeds which saw the striker score 33 goals over 2 seasons, is set to undergo his medical ahead of signing a loan with an obligation, reported Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“West Ham target Joel Piroe will under go his medical today following the agreement of his move from Leeds,” stated Ex.
