West Ham are now set to conclude to sale of Malick Diouf while Edson Alvarez gets close to a move also, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

As has been reported by our insider for some time, Diouf has made it clear he wants out of east London, with a move to Brentford now edging closer to conclusion.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex advised the current state of play, as Alvarez also looks soon to exit the club this summer.

“As we have been covering for a while now the club are back in talks with Brentford over the sale of Diouf,” stated Ex.

“The two clubs are hoping to conclude a deal for the player soon.

“Nottingham Forest are also said to be monitoring the situation but it looks more like that a deal with Brentford will be struck.

“The player has made it clear that he no longer wishes to play for West Ham. West Ham will only sell if Brentford meet their target price which it looks like they will.

“Once the deal is complete West Ham will look to bring in a new left back to compete with Ollie Scarles for the first team spot.

“The club is also in talks with a number of clubs over Edson Alvarez’s departure with Saudi & UAE clubs also now showing an interest including Al Jazira Club as we covered in the Podcast.”
