West Ham are in talks to sign Nice left-back Melvin Bard, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Our insider had advised previously that talks had been taking place for a player who can replace Malick Diouf, with Ex confirming this player to be former French U21 international.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex has also confirmed that there is talks in place for another also.

“We can confirm that one of the left backs that West Ham have been in negotiations with today is former French under 21 international Melvin Bard, who is now 25,” stated Ex.

“Talks have been ongoing with his club Nice throughout the day especially around how the deal would be structured.

“West Ham face competition from Leeds and one other English team it is thought.

“We will hopefully get more information on this soon and we are told there is an alternative left back option that we have also spoken to.“
