West Ham are set to sanction the loan move of Kaelan Casey to Stevenage for the season, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The Academy graduate is set to head off to join the League One side to continue his development and gain valuable first team opportunities.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, Ex exclusively reported the loan move, whilst also advising that the rumours of a move for Wout Faes of Leicester City have been denied by the club.
“Young West Ham academy graduate Kaelan Casey is set to join league 1 side Stevenage on loan,” stated Ex. “The commanding centre back had loan spells at Swansea and Leyton Orient last season.
“It is thought that the player is at the club completing his paperwork now and should be announced today.
“West Ham have moved to distance themselves from rumours circulating this morning they we are in for Leicester City defender Wout Faes.
“We put it to two club sources who have denied the interest for now. Defenders from all over the globe are currently being offered to us and so these rumours will circulate.
“We believe that the main centre back priority is Morato from Forest and talks are continuing today to get that over the line. There has been some interest from an unknown Premier League club but West Ham hope the chance to work with his former manager Nuno could help the deal.”
