West Ham host Wrexham AFC tonight with a chance to make it four wins in a row.

This is a massive game for Wrexham; this will be the biggest crowd the Welsh club has ever played in front of. Manager Phil Parkinson has said himself that it’s huge.

However, it’s potentially even bigger for West Ham, who could regain the top spot in the Championship from West Brom. After three wins in a row, the hope around the club is really on the up, and it would be huge if we can keep that positivity going into the international break.

The wins over Wolves, Derby, and Bolton have signified a lot of improvement for the Hammers; however, there is still a lot of improvement to come from Nuno’s side. Let’s hope we see that tonight. And I think we will.

The Red Dragons are a very direct team; they play five at the back, and they don’t mind sitting back, especially away from home. They also don’t mind playing long, which could be difficult for us to deal with.

However, with our slight improvement in attacking play and players growing in confidence in front of goal, I think this could be the game we really show our class and dominate the game.

In games like Bolton and Derby, we were clearly the most talented team, and we came out winners. However, we didn’t control the game like we know we can with the players we have. I really think this is going to be the game where we show we’re too good for this level, and Nuno realises he can take a lot of the shackles off his players.

And with Millwall coming up next weekend, and the international break coming up, it would be the perfect time to realise that and build on it on the training pitch.

This might sound arrogant to a Wrexham fan reading this; they are a good side, and they feel like a proper Championship team despite this being their second season back in the second tier, but I just feel like we’ve got too much for them in the form we’re in. But we’ll see what happens.

COYI!
