West Ham players were involved in a very heated exchange with rivals Millwall in the tunnel after the game on Saturday, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.

Our Hammers managed to grab a point in the 2-2 draw at the Den, which was a relief considering the manner of the performance in the first half.

Nuno’s side were incredibly off the pace and lacked fight, as the hosts bullied their way to a deserved 2-0 lead at the break, which arguably should have been more.

However, to West Ham’s credit, the response in the second half was noticeable from the off, as the changes in personnel and tactics saw the cockney boys come back to grab a point in dramatic fashion, with goals from Kante and Mavropanos denying our bitter rivals.

Kante also saw red at the death, with a professional foul to deny a goalscoring opportunity for Millwall to win it.

Following the final whistle, Ex has reported that there was a heated exchange in the tunnel between the sides.

“I have had it from several sources that it got very heated between the players and management following the draw after the final whistle,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Podcast.

“Tempers were high after we grabbed a point and I understand there were a few involved in the tunnel, with players and staff coming together in what was a physical altercation as the teams went back to the changing rooms.”
