West Ham United could make a move for former Brighton player Solly March.

The Hammers have already signed a former Brighton player on a free this season in Joel Veltman, but there is a chance they could sign another, despite the window being closed for almost a month.

That man is long-serving club legend Solly March. Despite interest from south coast rivals Southampton and motorway rivals Crystal Palace, March is still without a club.

Football League World has suggested that West Ham make a move for the 32-year-old to bring some more experience to the dressing room.

However, as March has got older, his strongest position has become central midfield; he can still play out wide, but while he was never blessed with bags of pace, he has even less than he used to.

It would be nice to have another wide addition to deputise for Jarrod Bowen, but unfortunately March really isn’t that man.

I don’t think Solly March will be donning a claret and blue jersey anytime soon, unless struggling Burnley come in for him.
