LOCATION

The Colour Factory, E9 5ENWe are delighted to announce that we have another legend and fan returning as out guest for this event.  This will be our 8th event at our new venue before the Luton Town match on the 11th May at 11am-2pm.

We are over the moon to welcome our all time 5th highest goalscorer with an impressive 146 goals over two spells for the club, Tony Cottee. Tony Cottee was a boyhood supporter who attended the 1980 Cup Final as a fan and then went on to make his debut for the club on the 1st of January 1983 scoring against rivals Spurs. He went on to play another 212 for the club before joining Everton for a British transfer fee record at the time of £2.2m. During that time he and Frank McAvennie formed a great partnership which helped the club achieve our greatest ever league position of 3rd in1986. Cottee then returned for a second spell from Everton in 1994 and played until 1996 scoring a further 23 league goals for us before joining Selangor in Malaysia. During his time time at the club Cottee also represented England. We are delighted to welcome Alan Curbishley as the first guest of yet another new season of events. This event will take place on SATURDAY (hooray) the 5th October from 11am-2pm before the Ipswich Town game.

Born in Forest Gate, just a mile away from West Ham station, he started in our famous academy. He joined West Ham in 1974 and played through until 1979 making 85 league appearances and scoring 5 goals.

After ending his playing career whilst player manager at Charlton he remained their manager until 2006. He then became West Ham manager in 2006 and last to 2008, after he resigned from the club after players were sold without him knowing. This should be a really interesting Q and A as we can reflect on a playing and management career at the club.
