We have teamed up with West Ham Live who put on some amazing events for the Europa League Semi’s and Final games, to replicate our time at the East Ham Working Man’s Club. Not only this, having been removed from their recent home, we will be welcoming all members of the West Ham Supporter’s Club to our events, where both TWHW Patreon’s and West Ham Supporters Club members will receive £5 off their entrance price.

We are delighted to announce that we have another couple of returning heroes as our next guests, both who if you were to ask West Ham fan’s for some of their favourite players in recent years, we are sure would feature! This will be our 6th event at our new venue before the Aston Villa match on the 17th March, which is also St Patrick’s day so the perfect excuse for a drink. The feedback we have received from the previous events have been brilliant with the last one banged out!
James Collins did his first public event with us back in February 2019 and we could have sold it three times over so you will have to move quickly to get your tickets. James originally joined us with good friend Danny Gabbidon from Cardiff in 2005. He went onto feature in many eventful games including being on the bench for our FA Cup final in 2006. He then played in the great escape season when Carlos Tevez’s goal at Old Trafford miraculously kept us up. He then left the club in 2009 to join Aston Villa. After 3 years at Villa he returned to the club under Sam Allardyce in 2012 and controversially leaving in 2018 despite many fans wanting him to stay. In total he made 188 league appearances for the club and scored 6 goals. He played under David Moyes during the manager’s first spell and alongside many of the current players now. There will be so much to cover in this event make sure you don’t miss out.
Our second guest is a cult hero and our second top ever Premier League goalscorer Carlton Cole. Joining us from Chelsea in the 2006 season, Cole went onto play 256 times for the club scoring 55 goals. He featured in many memorable seasons including the Great Escape Year, our relegation under Avram Grant and our quick return to the top flight, scoring the first goal in the play off final win against Blackpool. Carlton is a popular player still now where his chant “Always believe in your ssssssssssssoouull” being still sung in the stands. He also is heavily involved in the club, so can speak about the current set up with knowledge too.
Same format! – BIGGER & BETTER value & venue
Our popular host – ‘Mad Dog’ Martin Allen – will be the man keeping things ticking along nicely. Martin has already become a crowd favourite and received amazing reviews from guests who have attended our events this season. If you haven’t seen him in action yet, many of you will already know what you’re going to get from his patreon shows with us, Mad Dog Bites. Martin played for the club for 6 years (1989-1995) and made 190 appearances scoring an impressive 25 goals, some quite spectacular. He was known for always giving a 100 percent for the badge. The crowd use to howl like a dog every time he did something good due to his mad dog reputation. Martin is a very personable and funny host, who makes these events special!
